Guildford Public School's School Bytes Parent App is now live!
We are excited to announce that Guildford Public School will be transitioning to a more flexible & simplified way parent/carers can communicate with our school.
School Bytes provides a Parent Portal App that helps parent/carers view their children in one place and manage various tasks including attendance, online permission notes and payments.
At this stage (Term 1, 2025), the only parent portal module available is Attendance. Online permission notes and payments are still in progress, so for now, all payments must be made via the office payment box outside the print room.
Each child should have received a flyer with instructions on how to download and access the Parent Portal App. Please see the office if you are in need of another copy.
School assistance will be available from the TSO's, Mr Layana and Mr Giuseppe & CLO, Mrs Daher in the hall Wednesday, 26th February between 8:30am - 9:30am & 2:30pm - 3:00pm.
Soon, the School Bytes portal will provide flexibility for you to conveniently:
- Make school payments online (including paying for multiple siblings at once).
- Use a family credit to pay for an activity or school contributions.
- Download a receipt for payments made.
- View all historical payments in one place.
- Complete and submit digital permission notes.
- View the status of all permission notes and check event details.
- View the School Calendar.
- See your child’s attendance.
- Create planned absences.
This can be done where you want at any time: day or night.
School Bytes portal is available for you to register and begin using.

Please use your child’s official name that you enrolled with (preferred names will not link you together). When creating a new account use your email address you have provided to the school.
